Photographer and writer Chester Godsy and Bea
Growing up in a military family, Chester traveled throughout his childhood. After high school, Chester attended the University of Missouri Rolla and graduated in 1981 with a B.S.E.E. After college he became a design engineer building computer systems and software for industrial controls. Since 1981 he has founded several businesses and developed several online games. In 1992, he co-founded U.S. Automation Inc., a successful engineering firm located in the Kansas City Area.
During his career Chester has performed technical reviews and evaluations of prospective equipment and software for large corporate customers. Later in his career he became interested in digital photography, image scanning, and printing. An early career job opportunity as a design engineer for a company that produced Kodak professional lab printers paved the way for this.
Over the years Chester traveled extensively for work and pleasure. When he became the husband of a wildlife artist his life began to change. He and his wife travel to exotic wild places in search of experiences to help inspire his wife’s artwork.
