View from the Sea Rock Inn in Mendocino, California
Earlier this year we visited some small luxury oriented properties north of San Francisco including: Inn Above Tide, a Sausalito inn with an elegant corner suite and a fabulous view; Napa 1801, a service oriented Bed & Breakfast in the heart of Napa; and Sea Rock Inn, a small inn with a mesmerizing ocean view in Mendocino.

Sausalito is a great little artsy town that certainly deserves a look if you are in the area. Wine country is not that much further north and the nearby redwoods are definitely worth seeing.
